Brucellosis is a zoonotic infection caused by Brucella infection that can lead to serious complications if left untreated.Existing veterinary vaccines carry the risk of inducing infection and are not suitable for use in humans. With the rapid development of molecular biotechnology, recombinant protein vaccine, nucleic acid vaccine and other new vaccines have gradually become the focus of research. In this paper, the mechanisms of immune escape and pathogen-host interaction during brucellosis infection are discussed, and the research progress of novel vaccines in recent years is reviewed in order to provide new ideas for the research and development of brucellosis vaccines.
