Ultrasonic-Assisted Extraction Process Optimization and Antioxidant Activity of Proanthocyanidins from Ficus carica L.
Taking Ficus carica L.as raw material, the ultrasonic assisted extraction of Ficus carica L.proanthocyanidins(FCPC)is optimized by single factor combined with response surface methodology. At the same time, the DPPH radical, hydroxyl radical scavenging rate and total antioxidant capacity of FCPC are measured to comprehensively evaluate its antioxidant activity. The results show that the optimal extraction conditions of FCPC are as follows:ethanol volume fraction 68%,liquid-solid ratio 41 to 1(mL to g),extraction time 29 min, ultrasonic temperature 47℃,and the average extraction amount of FCPC is(15.75±0.28)mg/g,which is close to the model prediction value(15.60 mg/g).The antioxidant test results show that FCPC have good antioxidant capacity, which have strong scavenging capacity for DPPH radical and OH radical, when the mass concentration of FCPC is 0.013 2 mg/mL,the scavenging capacity for DPPH radical and OH radical reachs to 94.64%and 70.73%,respectively.The optimized FCPC extraction process conditions are stable and reliable, which can be applied in practical production;the extracted FCPC has strong antioxidant activity, and its antioxidant capacity is greater than that of vitamin C at the same mass concentration.
