Response Surface Optimization of Ultrasound Assisted Protein Extraction Process from Bacillus subtilis Fermentation Residue
Protein extraction from fermentation residue is a practical method for waste utilization.Based on a single factor experiment, the response surface methodology is applied to optimize the protein extraction process from Bacillus subtilis fermentation residue. The results indicate that the protein extraction amount significantly increased to(70.42±0.53)mg/g,a 197%improvement compared to pre-optimization levels, when using buffer pH 9.59,buffer volume of 35 mL(the ratio of solid to liquid is 1 to 350,the units are g and mL,respectively),ultrasound temperature of 80℃,and ultrasound time of 40 minutes. This optimized process can offer valuable technical support and raw materials for future research and applications involving related proteins.
