Antibiotic-induced water pollution has now attracted much attention.Fluoroquinolone antibiotics have been recognized as a new type of pollutant that poses a serious threat to biota and human health, and it is of great importance to comprehensively study and develop mild, efficient, and sustainable removal technologies for fluoroquinolone antibiotics and their derivatives. This paper outlines the application of enzymatic methods in the degradation of fluoroquinolone antibiotics and points out the problems and future directions of enzyme-catalyzed degradation of antibiotics in the field of environmental protection.
