Research on Optimization of Molding Process of Compound Tetrahydropalmatine Pain Relief Gel
Objective:To prepare compound tetrahydropalmatine pain relief gel(CTPRG)and evaluate its quality.Methods:CTPRG is prepared using Carbopol 940 as the matrix,with appearance,viscosity,spread ability,centrifugal stability,low-temperature stability,and high-temperature stability as comprehensive evaluation indicators,and the single factor experiments combined with orthogonal experiments are used to optimize the formulation.Results:The optimal prescription for CTPRG obtained is as follows:1.00 g of Carbopol 940,20 g of propylene glycol,8 g of glycerol,and 0.50 g of triethanolamine.The appearance of the product is like jelly,with a smooth,uniform and delicate surface;the stability of product in centrifugation,high temperature,and low temperature is good,and there is no layering or precipitation of liquid medicine.Conclusion:CTPRG has good appearance,stable quality,and the research results can provide a data basis for the development and utilization of external preparations of Yuanhu Zhitong Formula.
