Research on Treatment Processes for High-Concentration Emulsified Oil Wastewater in the Metal Processing Industry
Wastewater with different compositions is generated at various stages of metal processing, including high-concentration emulsified oil wastewater. The CODcr value of high-concentration emulsified oil wastewater from a certain metal processing enterprise reaches 9.80×105 mg/L,with an oil content of up to 33.84 g/L.After pretreatment using the demulsification-air flotation method and distillation concentration process, oil and water are physically separated and recovered to a great extent. The mid-stage wastewater treatment process involves alkaline coagulation and the use of composite flocculants for flocculation and sedimentation, resulting in an overall reduction of more than 99%in the COD value of the effluent water quality.
