Ideological and Political Construction of Bioreaction Engineering Through Mapping the Detailed Course Knowledge Structure and Elements of Educational Objectives
Bioengineering is an engineering discipline that combines industrial biotechnology and chemical engineering technology, which is closely related to the development of the national economy and society, and puts higher requirements on students'professional skills and professional responsibilities. As one of the core backbone courses of bioengineering major, the ideological and political construction of Bioreaction Engineering plays an important role in achieving professional education goals.Taking Bioreaction Engineering as an example, this manuscript explores the ideological and political elements that students are familiar with and highly compatible with the course content.By inspiring students to"seek knowledge from things"(seeking true knowledge),"if they want to do well in their work, they must first use their tools"(dedicating themselves to action),and"maintain integrity and innovation"(good thinking),the course of Bioreaction Engineering aims to map and construct a curriculum ideological and political paradigm that integrates knowledge transmission, ability cultivation, and value guidance. The results indicate that students highly recognize the ideological and political elements of the curriculum excavated from the perspectives of professional terminology, industrial development, and cutting-edge progress.More than 90%of the students believe that the ideological and political elements explored in this course effectively promoted the transmission of course knowledge, ability development, and value guidance. Moreover, students generally(100%)believe that ideological and political elements played a significant promoting role in improving students',professional interest, professional identity, and professional responsibility. In summary, the ideological and political paradigm of the course of Bioreaction Engineering can provide inspiration and reference for the ideological and political construction of professional courses in biotechnology and other similar engineering majors.
