Optimization of the extraction method of Shenkuitongmai Granule based on orthogonal experiment design and analytic hierarchy process
Shenkuitongmai Granule is clinically used for the treatment of chronic heart failure.The optimization of extraction process of Shenkuitongmai Granule can provide reference for its industrial production.Herein,we evaluated the extraction method of Shenkuitongmai Granule,and investigated the influence of major factors,such as boiling time,volume of boiling water and the number of boiling cycles using the orthogonal experiment design.By calculation using the analytic hierarchy process(AHP),the weight coefficients of calycosine glucoside,salvianolic acid B,icariin and extract rate were 0.460 9,0.310 4,0.156 0 and 0.072 6,respectively.According to the comprehensive scoring results from the orthogonal experiments,along with the consideration of the production cost and efficiency,as well as the clinical conventional decoction methods,the optimal water extraction process was determined to be two consecutive one-hour extraction cycles with 10 times water.The extraction of effective components from Shenkuitongmai Granules proved to be convenient,and easy to handle,suggesting its potential for industrial preparation.
