Color is the soul of modern design,and the color of traditional clothing is the source of inspiration for modern designers.This paper aims to study the cultural connotation and aesthetic value of the colors of ancient women's clothing,expounding the advanced history of the colors of women's clothing by dynasties,analyzing the cultural connotation behind the colors of clothing,applying the aesthetic value of clothing colors to modern design,verifying the integration path of traditional color culture and modern design,and realizing that traditional color culture can empower modern creative design.
