Utilizing the film posters created by Zhang Yu as research samples,this study shall conduct an analysis on the innovative application of traditional Chinese ink imagery in domestic animated film posters.Specifically,the integration will be examined across three dimensions:cinematic themes,character roles,and plot designs.This paper aims to delineate the successful transformation of commercially-oriented film posters towards more artistically-oriented varieties.It is hoped that these discussions can unveil new avenues for developing ethicized and culturally-distinct poster designs tailored for the domestic film industry.
