Abstract
It introduces the background characteristics of fabric defects,common defect types,and the causes behind them.Fabric detection algorithms are systematically classified into three categories.An overview of existing fabric defect benchmark datasets and detection systems is provided.The advantages and limitations of various methods are summarized,The future development of this field is also prospected.
