This paper summarizes the basic situation and characteristics of the 4th China Design Exhibition and Public Art Exhibition,and summarizes the progress and influence of public art in urban and rural construction in previous exhibitions,aiming to provide useful thinking and practical experience for the future development of public art.Through a series of case studies on rural revitalization and urban renewal in the 4th China Design Exhibition,the future development direction of public art is further discussed.
