Taking Tuomusi's oil painting studio as an example,this paper discusses the application of coding and decoding theory in painting art.Through the analysis of individual paintings and artists in Tuomusi's oil painting studio,it explains how artists"encode"their images by choosing themes,symbols,colors and techniques,and how viewers"decode"their paintings according to their personal emotions and cultural backgrounds.
