With the development and progress of social science and technology,various artistic creation methods and practice innovations have emerged in the field of contemporary painting.The folk art of shadow puppetry provides a large amount of materials for contemporary painting creation.By analyzing various forms and creation contexts of contemporary painting,this paper discusses the unique value and significance of shadow puppetry to contemporary painting.
