Abstract
Costume design undoubtedly plays a vital role in the shaping of animation characters.It is not only an important part of a character's appearance,but also a key element in conveying the character's personality,identity,setting,and worldview of the story.This paper expounds the role of costume design in the shaping of animation roles,analyzes the skills of costume design of animation roles,and focuses on the artistic embodiment of costume design in the shaping of animation roles,so as to provide a favorable reference for the design of animation roles.
