Calligraphy,as one of the representatives of traditional Chinese cultural symbols,has attracted much attention due to its diverse calligraphic styles,smooth brushstrokes,rigorous structure,and unique charm.Based on the theoretical framework of calligraphy and modern visual design,this article explores the application of calligraphy in the design of domestic movie posters,summarizes a set of design principles and strategies,and aims to integrate them into the visual design of movie posters to enhance their artistic quality.
