Wadang is a traditional Chinese architectural eaves component.The decorative patterns on the tile are rich and the characteristics of the times are distinct,reflecting the organic combination of practicality and decoration,as well as the unique aesthetic taste.On the basis of sorting out the types and patterns of tile patterns,this article explores the application of tile patterns in contemporary art and design,and endows them with new historical significance,in order to better promote the inheritance,development,and innovative application of traditional Chinese culture and art in the present.
