As one of the four major traditional Chinese New Year pictures,Mianzhu New Year pictures show their unique aesthetic style because of their close connection with the folk people life of Sichuan.As an important part of the intangible cultural heritage,Mianzhu New Year pictures also show a new style in the context of the current era.This paper through the history,art characteristics and the contemporary innovation design and application of geographical analysis,discusses its new historical period of innovation and development path.
