Chinese character design should not stay at the level of form redesign,the way of thinking carried by Chinese characters is the core connotation that affects Chinese character design.The research on the most intuitive pictographic properties of Chinese characters and the application of pictographic characters in textbook illustrations and picture books aims to explore the pictographic properties in the six books,excavate its aesthetic connotation,and provide an exploration path for Chinese character design innovation.
