Based on the development status of the first batch of national intangible heritage iron painting brands in Wuhu,this paper analyzes their artistic features in the aspects of functional beauty,material beauty,formal beauty and semantic beauty by using the research methods of iconology and semiotics.Wuhu Iron painting combines the literati feelings in Chinese painting with its unique forging process,forming a perfect unity of the literati spirit of"Zheng Iron bone"and tough steel material,which has an important development position in the field of contemporary art installation.
