The paper analyzes the current situation of general education at home and abroad,the problems existing in general education in China,and explores the direction of general education in cultivating students humanistic qualities using the digital media major as an example,changes the mode of talent cultivation in universities,breaks down barriers between disciplines,in order to promote communication and cooperation between disciplines and achieve win-win development.
