In the era of digital intelligence, the objects of archive management have transitioned from digital to data, and the management space has also shifted from physical to digital. The quality of archive data is the key to archive data governance and one of the core issues in archive dataization research. This article selects 16 policy texts from both domestic and foreign sources and uses content analysis methods to quantitatively analyze the quality of archival data from two dimensions:basic policy tools and lifecycle based archival data quality. It is found that there are problems in the process of ensuring archival data quality in China, such as incomplete and inconsistent regulations and standards, difficulties in communication and exchange among multiple subjects, incomplete cooperation mechanisms, and weak peripheral nerves in archival data quality assurance.Optimization paths are then proposed at the macro, meso, and micro levels.
