Local characteristic archive resources are the centralized mapping of a region's history and culture,which have irreplaceable important value in inheriting civilization and serving society.On the basis of explaining the necessity of digital protection and utilization of local characteristic archive resources,this paper discusses the realization path of digital protection of characteristic archive resources,and puts forward the strategy of innovating the utilization mechanism of digital archive resources.To promote the digital protection and utilization of characteristic archive resources,we need to base ourselves on the new development stage,implement the new development concept,keep pace with the times,open up and innovate,and contribute the strength of local characteristic archives in inheriting and innovating excellent regional culture,telling Chinese stories well,and promoting the development of Chinese civilization.
