Shahedele Lead Zinc Mine in Ejina Banner,Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region Analysis of geological characteristics and prospecting potential
The Shahedele lead-zinc deposit in Ejina Banner represents a recent discovery of a lead-zinc deposit in the Hazhu Yagan deep fault zone. The ore body is situated within the upper formation of the Queershan Group marble formation, with the nearly east-west secondary fault acting as the controlling structure in the area. The surrounding rock alteration is characterized by silicification, carbonation, epidotization, and kaolinization, and is indicative of a mesothermal deposit. The geophysical characteristics of the ore-bearing structural alteration zone exhibit high resistance and high polarization. The geochemical anomaly elements are primarily composed of Pb,Zn,W,Mo,and so forth, exhibiting discernible concentration centers for each element and a notable anomaly intensity.Based on the geophysical,geochemical,ore-bearing construction, ore body characteristics, and rock alteration data collected in the work area,it can be preliminarily inferred that the Shaldere lead-zinc mining area has good prospecting potential.
