The formation conditions and development characteristics of the debris flow in Jinheba village,Chuanzhusi Town,Songpan County,were analyzed and summarized based on a field investigation of the debris flow.Based on comprehensive research,a proposal for the prevention and control of debris flows is presented.This proposal,which is based on the principles of"stabilizing containment and combining containment and drainage,"has positive implications for the protection of human life and property,as well as for the sustained and healthy development of the local economy.
