When a power transformer is subjected to a short circuit impact, its winding state will change to a certain extent, which threatens the safe operation of power grid.In order to deal with the problem that single method is not accurate enough to diagnose trans-former winding deformation, with the winding deformation of a 110 kV transformer as an example, the frequency response method and capacitive decomposition method are combined to analyze the deformation of transformer winding. The results show that there is con-cave defect in Phase A medium voltage winding of the transformer, which is consistent with the observation of the hanging hood. This method has certain guiding significance for the diagnosis of transformer winding state.
