In this paper,an indoor substation and its adjacent elevated subway line in Jinan is taken as the research object.Based on an on-site measurement of the vibration acceleration of the free site and the vibration velocity of the floor of an indoor substa-tion when a subway passes by,the characteristics and propagation rules of ground vibration caused by subway load in this area are dis-cussed,by sorting out and analyzing the data of indoor and outdoor measuring points.On the basis of international vibration VC stan-dard,the safety of precision instrument in substation under subway vibration is evaluated.The measured results show that the vibration induced by subway load gradually decreases with the increase of distance from the source;the vibration of substation caused by subway operation increases gradually with the increase of floor,mainly manifested as mid-low frequency vibration with peak frequency concen-trated around 15 Hz.The vibration response of each measuring point of the indoor substation in this project falls within the allowable range of VC-C vibration standard,which meets the vibration control requirements of Class C experimental building in international vi-bration VC standard.Therefore,the substation and the precision instruments in the station are safe.
