Optimal Strategy of Preventive Maintenance for Leasing Second-Hand Equipment Considering Learning Effect
From the perspective of leasing company,this paper studies the optimal mainte-nance strategy for second-hand equipment considering learning effect.Aiming at minimizing the expected total cost for leasing company,this optimal strategy establishes a maintenance model for second-hand equipment as well as providing the related algorithms,with the consid-eration of learning effect's impact on preventive maintenance costs.Based on numerical study,it is shown that the optimal expected total cost of the strategy is lower than that without considering learning effect.The sensitivity of parameters in the model has also been analyzed subsequently.The optimal strategy provided in this paper is able to help leasing company determine equipment maintenance policy with solid theoretical basis.
