Study on the Spatio-Temporal Evolution of the Coordinated Upgrading of Urban Industrial Structure and Service Functions in China
Achieving coordinated upgrading of urban industrial structure and service func-tions is an urgent requirement and key measure for promoting people-oriented new urbaniza-tion.This paper comprehensively applies methods such as entropy weight method, coupling coordination degree model,Kernel density estimation method,Markov chain model,Dagum Gini coefficient, and decomposition to carry out empirical analysis, revealing the spatial-temporal evolution characteristics and regional differences of the Coordinated Upgrading of industrial structure and service functions in 284 cities in China from 2010 to 2021.The results show that:The coordination level of urban industrial structure and service functions in the whole country and the four major regions is steadily increasing, but the regional heterogeneity is significant; The Coordinated Upgrading of industrial structure and service functions in Chinese cities presents a distribution characteristic of"overall level improvement, diverse dispersion trends and uneven gradient forms",with obvious hierarchical stability and"club convergence"phenomenon, and spatial spillover effect is an important factor affecting its evolution trend; The overall spatial differences of coordinated upgrading of industrial structure and service functions in Chinese cities showed a downward trend, and the annual contribution rates of sup er-variation density,inter-regional differences, and intra-regional differences decrease in turn.
