In order to solve the serious damage and repair problems of mural painting in the main hall of Guandi Temple in Da-tong City,through the physical and chemical analysis of the damage status of mural paintings and the diseases of each process layer,the restoration technology of different process layers of mural paintings is put forward and the restoration construction is carried out.The practice shows that the determined restoration processes of keel deformation and base layer restoration,picture nail restoration,shortening and salt cream restoration,leaching gold layer reinforcement and pulverized mural reinforcement are reasonable and ap-propriate,and the expected restoration effect is achieved.
