Analysis of Spacial Effects of Environmental Regulations on High-quality Economic Development in the Yangtze River Delta
Using the panel data of 41 prefecture-level cities in the Yangtze River Delta from 2010 to 2020,a comprehensive eval-uation system for high-quality economic development was constructed.The entropy method measured the level of high-quality eco-nomic development in the Yangtze River Delta,and the impact and spatial effects of environmental regulation on high-quality eco-nomic development were analyzed based on the dynamic panel model and Spatial Dubin Model.The study shows:on the whole,envi-ronmental regulation promotes the high-quality economic development of the Yangtze River Delta;from the perspective of spatial ef-fects,environmental regulation has a promoting effect on the high economic quality of surrounding cities,and the magnitude of the ef-fect is positively correlated with the degree of close economic ties between regions.Based on this,relevant suggestions such as differ-entiated environmental regulation policies are proposed to promote high-quality economic development in the Yangtze River Delta.
