Analysis of the Relationship between Perception of Car Safety Technologies and Unsafe Driving Behavior
The aim of this study is to explore the unsafe driving behaviors that occur when driving cars with advanced safety technologies(such as reduced driver attention to road hazards due to automatic emergency braking),and to discuss the reasons for their occurrence.Three structural equation models were constructed and validated by designing questionnaires. The results indicate that social norms perception, technological risk perception, and safety experience perception have a predictive effect on unsafe driv-ing behavior through the mediating effect of unsafe driving psychology. This study will determine practical applications to reduce the unsafe driving psychology of car drivers when driving advanced safety technology vehicles, thereby improving their driving be-havior and preventing accidental injuries.
