Research Progress of Carbonate Carbon-sulfur Isotopic Interpretation Models
Carbonate is an important type of oil and gas reservoir.Paleoenvironmental conditions have a significant impact on the enrichment of organic matter and the development of beneficial reservoirs.Carbonate carbon-sulfur isotopic systematics are ef-fective means to restore paleoenvironment.Due to limitations of traditional carbonate carbon-sulfur proxies, some new nterpretation models have been established, including the inorganic carbon isotopic compositions dominated under the upwelling effect of pore water(δ13Ccarb)and sulfur isotopes of synsedimentary pyrite([pyrite]-δ34Spyrite).By systematically introducing the new progress and application of carbon sulfur isotope interpretation models,we aim to provide insights for the study of paleoenvironment and oil and gas exploration.
