The integrated development of urban and rural areas is an inherent requirement for realizing rural revitalization and common prosperity in an all-round way.Based on the panel data of 41 cities in the Yangtze River Delta region from 2013 to 2022,this paper discusses the impact of digital economy on urban-rural integration, uses entropy method to construct urban-rural integra-tion index and digital economy development level, and uses two-way fixed effect model to explore the impact of digital economy on urban-rural integration in the Yangtze River Delta region. The results show:the development of digital economy has a positive effect on urban-rural integration, which is verified by multi-dimensional robustness test;the impact of digital economy on rural-urban inte-gration in the Yangtze River Delta region has regional heterogeneity,in which Zhejiang province is the best and Anhui province the last;the intermediary effect test found that the resilience of agricultural economy is an important path for digital economy to pro-mote urban-rural integration.Based on the above analysis, the paper puts forward policy suggestions such as developing digital edu-cation,promoting the construction of rural digital infrastructure, and improving the regional coordinated development mechanism.
