Objective To investigate the attitude and awareness rate of medical students about tuberculosis in Shanxi Province,and to provide reference for tuberculosis prevention and control in colleges and universities.Methods Adopting a combination of on-line and offline methods,electronic questionnaires are collected online by scanning QR codes,while paper questionnaires are distrib-uted offline to undergraduate students majoring in medicine.Statistical methods are used to organize and analyze the data.Results A total of 512 valid questionnaires were collected.The total awareness rate of TB knowledge in this survey was 60.49%.The highest awareness rate of knowledge was"TB can be cured"(82.81%)and the lowest was"TB patients are not necessarily be isolated after diagnosis"(17.97%);In attitude,most students supported the popularization of TB related knowledge(99.41%)and considered it necessary to carry out TB health education activities in the community(99.02%);College students mainly obtained TB information through mobile Internet(85.35%).Conclusion The total awareness rate of 512 medical professional undergraduates in Shanxi Prov-ince on tuberculosis-related knowledge was 60.49%,and the cognition level of tuberculosis was generally low,indicating that colleg-es and universities in Shanxi Province still need to strengthen the popularization of TB prevention and control knowledge,and time-ly and effectively improve the cognition level of college students in TB related knowledge.
