Textualism and narrativism derived from the"linguistic turn"have had a great impact on the historical narration of contemporary novels.Textualism emphasizes the uniqueness of text and advocates replacing reality with text, which provides a theoretical basis for contemporary writers to carry out the experiment of intersexuality between history and literature.Narrativism emphasizes the priority, dialogue and explanation of narration, which also provides ideological convenience for eliminating the reality of story and highlighting the subjectivity of discourse. In order to subvert the meta-narrative structure such as the view of historical source center and the view of historical progress, the avant-garde writers have also adopted other formalistic means. The intellectual resources of these explorations in the field of contemporary historical themes mainly come from the structuralism philosophy of language, and thus have some characteristics of postmodernism. For this literary experiment,we should adopt a dialectical analysis atti-tude.On the one hand,we should affirm the new atmosphere it brings to historical literature,on the other hand,we should also be alert to the nihilistic danger that absolute textualism may bring.
