The Construction of the Revolutionary Heroic Epic of the Communist Party of China:An Investigation Revolving around the Evolution of the Concept of"Long March"
The Long March is a legend in the history of the Chinese revolution and a revolutionary heroic epic of the Communist Party of China(CPC).Examining the evolutionary process of the concept,it is found that it has gone through four processes:the initial formation,the early construction,the reconstruction from"Long March"to"New Long March",and the return to the classic revolutionary spirit.Facing the reality of the need for internation-al support,the"Long March",with its strong storytelling and tragic heroic narrative features,has became an impor-tant concept that the CPC tried to introduce to the outside world,and became a unique concept in the ideological discourse system.After the founding of the People's Republic of China,"Long March"was widely disseminated by various means,and became a deeply-rooted spiritual symbol.In the face of different demand of the times,the goal of the"Long March"has also been changing,and the Long March is always on the road.
