The Impact and Mechanism of Digital Countryside Construction on the Modernization of Agriculture and Rural Areas
This paper expounds the impact effect and mechanism of digital countryside construction on the moderni-zation of agriculture and rural areas from the theoretical level,and based on the panel data of 30 provinces in China from 2011 to 2021,it conducts the corresponding empirical test.It is found that digital countryside construction has a significant positive impact on the modernization of agriculture and rural areas.Furthermore,from the perspective of the mechanism of action,digital countryside construction can not only influence the modernization of agriculture and rural areas by promoting the integration of the three industries in countryside,but also influence the modernization of agriculture and rural areas by enhancing the level of agricultural industrial agglomeration.Besides,the threshold effect analysis shows that as the level of the integration of the three industries in countryside is increased,the mar-ginal effect of digital countryside construction on the modernization of agriculture and rural areas gradually decrea-ses,while with the increase of the level of agricultural industry agglomeration,the marginal effect of digital country-side construction on the modernization of agriculture and rural areas gradually increases.Therefore,we should ac-tively promote the development strategy of "digital countryside",innovate the mode of integration of the three indus-tries,accelerate the agglomeration of agricultural industries,and create a good ecological environment for the mod-ernization of agriculture and rural areas.
