论《清忠谱》的叙事艺术与悲剧精神

清代李玉所作《清忠谱》是一部经典戏剧,以往研究主要集中于历史真实的维度.其实,作为明清之际苏州派舞台创作,《清忠谱》的成功除了"事俱按实"之外,尚取决于作者精心结撰的叙事结构和由此生发的艺术张力,故其叙事艺术尤藏蕴奥.剧中独特的"四线"叙事巧妙地暗合于"忠孝节义"伦理观,达到了"有美斯彰"的教化效果;其梦幻叙事运用梦境、鬼魂构建了虚实相生的审美情境;其"戏中戏"叙事则让历史映照现实,预示了主线发展.此外,作为中国十大古典悲剧之一,《清忠谱》通过周顺昌、颜佩韦等悲剧人物的塑造,写出"忠奸之斗"的历史之殇,突显了"知其不可而为之"的崇高悲剧精神.
On Narrative Art and Tragedy Spirit of LI Yu's Qing Zhong Pu
Qing Zhong Pu,written by LI Yu,is an outstanding classic drama.The previous studies have mainly fo-cused on the dimension of historical reality.In fact,as a stage creation of the Suzhou School during the Ming and Qing dynasties,the success of Qing Zhong Pu depends not only on"presenting everything as it is",but also on dramatist's crafted narrative structure and the resulting artistic tension.Therefore,its narrative art is especially of profound meanings and hidden wisdom.The unique"four lines"narrative of the play ingeniously coincides with the ethical concepts—"loyalty,filial piety,integrity and righteousness",achieving its educational purpose of reward-ing good and punishing evil.Its dream narrative uses dreams and ghosts to construct an aesthetic scenario where the real and the imaginary are interwined,while the"play-within-the-play"narrative allows history to mirror reality,foreshadowing the development of the main line.Besides,as one of the top ten classical tragedies in China,by cre-ating the typical tragic characters—ZHOU Shunchang and YAN Peiwei,Qing Zhong Pu depicts the historical trage-dy of"the battle between the loyal and the traitorous"and reflects the noble tragic spirit that"Knowing it can not be done,yet still striving to accomplish it".
