On the Multifunctional Function Word"Bushi"in Zhanghu Cluster of Jin Dialect and Its Grammaticalization Process

摘要
张呼片晋语"不是"是多功能虚词,有语气副词、假设连词、语气词等多种用法."不是"是从否定短语语法化为虚词的,在句首位置,"不是"由否定短语分别语法化为假设连词和语气副词;在句末位置,"不是"由否定短语语法化为疑问语气词,再演变为陈述语气词和句中语气词.研究张呼片晋语多功能虚词"不是"及其语法化历程,可以促进晋语语法研究、语法化理论研究以及方言和语法化结合研究.
Abstract
In Zhanghu cluster of Jin dialect,"bushi"is a multifunctional function word with various uses such as modal adverbs,hypothetical conjunctions,and modal particles."Bushi"is grammaticalized from a negative phrase to a function word.On the one hand,at the beginning of a sentence,"bushi"is grammaticalized from a negative phrase to a hypothetical conjunction and a modal adverb respectively;on the other hand,at the end of the sen-tence,"bushi"is grammaticalized from a negative phrase to a interrogative particle,and then it evolves into a de-clarative particle and an intra-sentential particle.Studying the grammaticalization of"bushi"in Zhanghu cluster of Jin dialect and its grammaticalization process can promote the studies of Jin dialect grammar,grammaticalization theory,and the combination of dialect and grammaticalization.
