This paper designs an RFID reader with HID interface.The reader uses STC8H microcontroller unit with a hardware USB interface as the main control,and uses multi-protocol chip FM1722 as the reader chip.The reader has the advantages of convenient interface,fast reading and writing speed,high cost-effectiveness,and sup-porting multiple card types.It can be used in many fields such as logistics,transportation,identity recognition,and security control,etc.
