一种新颖的带隙基准源二阶曲率补偿结构

通过对三极管基极发射极电压VBE温度特性的深入研究,推导出VBE电压中与绝对温度相关的线性项和高次项函数关系.在此基础上,设计了一种能产生与绝对温度的平方成正比例电流的电路,把该电流叠加到传统带隙基准源上,达到进一步减小温度系数的目的.采用CSMC 0.18um标准CMOS工艺进行仿真,得到二阶曲率补偿后的基准源温度系数为8.8 ppm/℃.
A Novel Second-order Curvature Compensation Structure for Bandgap Reference Sources
Throughthe in-depthstudy of the temperature characteristics of the base emitter voltage VBE,the line-ar term and the high-order function relationship related to absolute temperature in VBE are derived.On this basis,a circuit is designed that can generate acurrent proportional to the square of the absolute temperature,and superim-pose the current on the traditional bandgap reference source to further reduce the temperature coefficient.The CSMC0.18 umstandard CMOS process is used for simulation,and the reference source temperature coefficient after second-order curvature compensation is 8.8ppm/°C.
