A Novel Second-order Curvature Compensation Structure for Bandgap Reference Sources
Throughthe in-depthstudy of the temperature characteristics of the base emitter voltage VBE,the line-ar term and the high-order function relationship related to absolute temperature in VBE are derived. On this basis,a circuit is designed that can generate acurrent proportional to the square of the absolute temperature, and superim-pose the current on the traditional bandgap reference source to further reduce the temperature coefficient. The CSMC0.18 umstandard CMOS process is used for simulation, and the reference source temperature coefficient after second-order curvature compensation is 8.8ppm/°C.
