摘要
陆羽所著的《茶经》是茶学史上的传世佳作,现存50余种版本.本研究以南宋的《百川学海》本为底本,兹举《茶经》卷一中的五例,通过字词的考释对《茶经》进行释读,在综述前人观点的基础上,提出了几点不同的诠释,如"嘉木"指代品行高洁;"伐而掇之"是砍下树枝后拾掇茶叶;从"荼"到"茶"是一个词义范围缩小并分化的过程,等等.
Abstract
The Classic of Tea written by Yu Lu is a masterpiece in the history of tea studies,with over fifty ex-isting versions.This study is based on the version included in"Hundred Rivers and Sea of Learning"of the South-ern Song Dynasty,and provides interpretation of"The Classic of Tea"by choosing five examples from Volume One of this book and performing textual explanation and analysis of words therein.Based on a review of previous view-points,several different interpretations are proposed in this work.Those different interpretations include"Beautiful wood"as referring to noble and clean conduct,"Cutting and picking up"as referring to chopping down branches and picking up tea leaves,and the evolution from"Tu"to"Tea"as a process of narrowing and differentiating the meaning range of the word,and so on.
