Establishment of constitutive equation of TC4 titanium alloy for electroplasticity
The electroplastic uniaxial tensile tests of TC4 titanium alloy sheet were carried out by using a self-designed insulation fixture.Based on the method of controlled tests, the non-electric and under different temperature conditions were used as references, and com-pared with the pulse current heating at the same temperature conditions to explore the effect laws of current parameters on the electroplastic effect and mechanical properties of TC4 titanium alloy. The results show that the duty ratio of pulse current mainly affects the temperature change of material, and the electroplasticity of TC4 titanium alloy is mainly related to the current density, and the tensile strength of TC4 titanium alloy material under the action of pulse current decreases significantly and the plasticity increases.Based on Johnson-Cook model and Arrhenius equation, the electroplastic constitutive equation of TC4 titanium alloy with coupled temperature and pulse current density were established and verified.
