Research progress on Fe-Mn nickel-free cryogenic steels
As the problems of energy consumption and environmental pollution become more and more serious, clean energy such as liq-uefied natural gas has been widely concerned. As a material for the storage and transportation of this kind of energy, the application and research and development of cryogenic steel have become more and more urgent.Ni steel is the mainstream choice of cryogenic structural steel, but in recent years, due to the excellent economy and performance of Fe-Mn steel,"manganese instead of nickel"new cryogenic steel has become a research hotspot, the mechanical properties of this kind of steel are often regulated by adding Mn,Al and Cu alloying elements, and the use standard is reached through process regulation. The influence of external force parameters-deformation on mechani-cal properties, classical strengthening mechanism and the influence of deformation on strength and toughness mechanism were emphasized. The theoretical principles of low temperature crack such as crack initiation, solute segregation, phase intensity difference and energy ab-sorption were reviewed. The evaluation indexes and test methods of toughness were systematically summarized. Finally, the relevant re-search results of Fe-Mn cryogenic steels were summarized, and the future research was prospected.
