Finite element simulation and sensitivity analysis of mechanical parameters of steel components with crack damage
The tensile test was carried out on the steel component with crack damage which was taked as the research object, and the in-fluence of the relative crack length on the mechanical parameters of the steel component with crack damage was aalyzed and studied by fi-nite element analysis. It is found that the residual ultimate strength and yield strength of the steel component with crack damage decrease approximately linearly with the gradual increase of the relative crack length, and the elongation after fracture decreases nonlinearly with the increase of the relative crack length. The yield ratio of steel with different strengths was introduced, and the calculation formula of the rele-vant mechanical parameters of steel components with crack damage of different strengths was proposed. The calculated values were com-pared with the experimental values, and the results of them are basically consistent, which verifies the accuracy and applicability of the proposed formula. On this basis and the sensitivity analysis was conducted on the influence of relative crack length on its related mechani-cal parameters was analyzed.
