椭圆增强内凹六边形拉胀蜂窝的面内压溃行为

为增强传统内凹六边形(RE)蜂窝的承载和能量吸收能力,将椭圆结构与RE蜂窝结构相结合,提出了一种新型椭圆增强内凹六边形拉胀(REE)蜂窝.考虑了椭圆结构的两种排列方式,即间隔排列(REE-Ⅰ)和全排列(REE-Ⅱ).建立了有效的数值模型,通过数值模拟研究了REE蜂窝的变形失效模式、泊松比效应和能量吸收性能.研究结果表明,椭圆结构的引入没有明显削弱结构的负泊松比效应,但是显著提高了其承载和能量吸收能力.进一步讨论了几何参数对REE蜂窝力学性能的影响,发现两种REE蜂窝在变形阶段都表现出了负泊松比效应,椭圆结构设计和内凹角度对REE蜂窝的整体性能有较大影响.两种REE蜂窝的平台应力和比能量吸收均与b/a呈正相关、与θ呈负相关的关系,b/a越大、θ越小的REE蜂窝具有更强的承载和能量吸收能力.
In-plane crushing behavior of ellipse enhanced re-entrant hexagonal auxetic honeycomb
To enhance the load-carrying and energy absorption capacity of traditional re-entrant hexagonal(RE)honeycomb,a novel el-lipse enhanced re-entrant hexagonal auxetic(REE)honeycomb was proposed by combining elliptical structure with RE honeycomb struc-ture.Two arrangements of elliptical structures,namely interval arrangement(REE-Ⅰ)and full arrangement(REE-Ⅱ)were considered.An effective numerical model was established to study the deformation failure mode,Poisson's ratio effect and energy absorption perform-ance of REE honeycomb through numerical simulation.The research results show that the introduction of elliptical structures does not sig-nificantly weaken the negative Poisson's ratio effect of the structure,but significantly improves the load-carrying and energy absorption ca-pacities.The effect of geometric parameters on the mechanical properties of REE honeycomb was further discussed,and it is found that both types of REE honeycombs exhibit negative Poisson's ratio effect during the deformation stage.The elliptical structure design and re-entrant angle have significant influence on the overall performance of REE honeycombs.The plateau stress and specific energy absorption of both two types of REE honeycombs are positively correlated with b/a and negatively correlated with θ.REE honeycomb with larger b/a and smaller θ has better load-carrying and energy absorption capacity.
