摘要
20世纪30年代，关于中国现代化问题论争，拓宽了中国知识界的研究领域，使其跳出了文化决定论的怪圈；开阔了中国知识分子视野，使他们认识到现代化是中国和世界发展的必然趋势；决心为中国和世界的现代化理论和实践作出积极贡献，促进了中国和世界的现代化进程。但这场论争仍未能对中国现代化问题进行深入分析和全面展开，没有超出知识分子的狭隘范围，缺乏足够的广泛性和实践基础，未看到实现现代化的现实力量。
Abstract
In 1930 s,the debate over Chinese modernization broadened the research domain of Chinese intellectuals , helped them to jump out of the strange circle of cultural determinism ,and broadened their vision as well ,making them real-ize that modernization is an inevitable trend of China and the world and determine to make positive contribution to both the theory and practical process of modernization of China and the world .Even in this case,the debate failed to make a more profound analysis about the problem and unfold it completely .It did not go beyond the narrow domain of the intellectuals and lacked enough comprehensiveness and practical basis ,Nor did it find the actual strength for the realization of modernization .
