The Image Representation of Filial Piety Culture——An exploration of the pictures of dutiful sons in the murals of the jin dynasty in Changzhi area
Tomb murals are important physical materials for studying ancient human society.The images of dutiful sons in the mural paintings of Jin Dynasty tombs in Changzhi,Shanxi Province,discovered through archaeological research,have programmatic characteristics and are important image representations of traditional filial piety culture in China.The mural paintings of filial sons in the Jin Dynasty tombs in Changzhi area have distinct characteristics,and the level of paint-ing tends to mature.They draw on the techniques of landscape painting by literati in the Song Dynasty,emphasizing the in-tegrity of the story plot.The content of the murals reflects strong temporality,regionalism,and historical changes.Through the analysis of its unique artistic form,the connotation of filial piety culture is highlighted,revealing the reasons for the prevalence of the ethical thought of"filial piety"in Changzhi area of the Jin Dynasty,and further exploring the important value of"filial piety"as an important moral quality and ethical realm in social development.
