Study on the water-reducing mechanism of modified lignin superplasticizer
Modified lignin superplasticizer was made by the four step modified reactions that is oxidation, hydroxymethylation, sulfonation and graft copolymerization reaction, using the gum wood sulfate black pulp liquor as raw material.Characterizing the modified lignin superplasticizer by determining the surface tension, charge density, surface adsorption and fluidity etc.then study the mechanism of the modified lignin superplasticizer. While active groups was effectively introduced into raw material after reactions, the surface activity and charge density of modified lignin superplasticizer were improved.Modified lignin superplasticizer act the function of decreasing water by forming adsorbed layers on the cement surface. As the adding amount of modified lignin superplasticizer was 0.5 %,the adsorption quantity can reach the highest level, then the decreasing water effect reached the level of superplasticizer.
